Radio Petty was started by a group of musicians who had a mutual love for the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers. After Tom's untimely death in October 2017, Radio Petty was formed for what was supposed to be a one-off tribute show. Preparation for the show and the night itself was such a blast that the guys decided to start a new band dedicated to the incredible catalog of Tom’s music. The band is an authentic tribute, focusing on recreating the sound, feel and energy of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers shows.
