Kim Wilson and his Blues All Stars

Sunday, March 08, 2020
07:30 PM - 10:30 PM
Tim McLoone's Supper Club
1200 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park, NJ, USA

Kim Wilson is universally considered the worlds greatest living blues harmonica player/vocalist. The depth and breadth of his playing and his ability to convincingly deliver all styles of the genre set him apart from all his contemporaries. His power and energy on the instrument hasn't been seen since Little Walter.  Muddy Waters himself stated that "Kim is the best harmonica player since Little Walter". His powerful style of blues harp playing has been described as "loaded with the textures of a full-blown horn section."

Kim's Blues All Stars consists of some of the finest traditional blues players today. The guitar combination of Dean Shot and Big Jon Atkinson are as fierce and well versed a team of blues guitarists as you can find today. The rhythm section of Chris Rivelli on drums and Mike Law on bass round out this world class blues crew.

Dean Shot (Hubert Sumlin, Kim Wilson, Junior Watson, Mark Hummel)

Big Jon Atkinson (Kim Wilson, Alabama Mike, James Harman, Bob Corritore)

Chris Rivelli (Kim Wilson, Rooomful Of Blues, Junior Watson, Janiva Magness)

Mike Law (Kim Wilson, Lurrie Bell, Mud Morganfield, Nick Moss)

The last tour this line-up did in 2018 was met with huge critical praise, so make sure to catch these very special shows this time around!!
